The exhibition 'In the Footsteps of John Muir' will exhibit in Stirling Castle, Blackness Castle and Fort George in Scotland through 2019.
Ken started the Famous Scots project as a direct result of participation in a Millennium Award Scheme that saw his photographic work exhibited in the Tate Modern and Lowry Galleries 2002.
Ken has also exhibited in the Arsenal gallery, Central Park New York, and twice in Federal Hall National Memorial during Tartan week, thanks to the American Scottish Foundation and National Park Service. The exhibition features a photographic essay in the footsteps of John Muir. The results of a project trip ‘In the footsteps of Thomas Blake Glover’ have been exhibited in the Scottish Parliament, the Lighthouse Museum Fraserburgh and in the Puccini House, ‘Torre Del Lago’ in Italy. Further trips to produce photographic essays in the footsteps of Famous Scots are being planned by Ken, as his way of encouraging an appropriate sense of national pride and greater knowledge in the people of Scotland of their unique global heritage.
